I was going through Grant Cardone’s “Millions on the phone” Webinar he put on a couple years ago the other day. Along with the webinar was a 85 page PDF with the slides he went through during the webinar. One of the slides talks about doing the math. The math he talks about is as a sales person backing into how much you want to make in a year. It is all based around metrics. For example, lets say you wanted to make $250,000 this year. How many sales would that be? How many calls? How many appointments? How many meetings? Knowing this will help you hone in on the goal.
One of the aspects I loved was knowing what EVERY call is worth as a sales person. For myself and my income goals and calls I make, EVERY single call I make is worth $10. Even ones where they say NO. NOT INTERESTED. It is very motivating because you know in your head, no big deal, on to the next call to make another $10!
My point is this. Do you know what your time is worth? If it is capped, how can you increase it? What side hustles could you do? What can you sell? My biggest piece of advice would be to figure out how you can enhance your skills and add more value to the employer you work for. Go directly to them and add more responsibility to your day to day and I guarantee over time you will make more money! Or, if you are like me, you wanted to test your skills as an entrepreneur! I’m here to help you and answer any questions you have about sales/marketing, money, business, and entrepreneurship!
Be great.
