So, a new year is here! I’ve been thinking, pondering, and just visualizing all day today trying to get clear on what I actually want.
The end of 2020 brought me many lessons. With COVID and growing businesses it was a very difficult year but overall, a solid year!
One of the biggest things I want to accomplish in 2021 is to live a more balanced life and really dominate all areas of my life.
Why?
Because for far too long it has been so focused on just business. I’m 27 years old and have been either in the corporate world or running my own companies since I was 19. Not that 8 years is a super long time but if you have your identity wrapped up in something for so long you can begin to read your own press clippings.
I had tremendous success in my corporate sales role achieving and exceeding company set sales targets for the 5 years I was in an actual production role. When I left to grow my own companies I left behind a 6 figure salary at 25.
For example, one way I want to be more balanced and actually took action on 12.31.20 was to travel more. So, I booked a trip for March to go hiking/biking in the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. I just booked it. I took the action I did not do for years because I was “working”. Or, I was just too “busy” to take the trip. I let people down by not taking these trips.
The other area I am really focused on right now is my health. For the majority of my life, I have always been very slender. Right now, I am the heaviest in muscle I’ve ever been. But, I want to get even stronger and become a competitive cyclist next Spring. I want to be the “heaviest.” cyclist for my height in every race and going therefore the strongest rider by getting to a goal weight of 175.
Here is my point. What do you need to do to win in every area of life? This is where a majority of the posts I will make going forward will be centered around. This topic of what Grant Cardone calls, “The Super Life.”
Let’s go make 2021 not just the best year ever, let’s make it a year we never forget because we have so many amazing experiences, made a boatload of money, met amazing people, got closer to our families, ate and exercised more, and just lived a full and complete life.
Let’s get it!
