Who Stole Your Dream?

Today while working out I was listening to a podcast, and in the podcast, the speaker talked about how most of us as kids wanted to be astronauts or build businesses or become the President of the United States. But, as we grow older, we settle for what society tells us we should become. My question for you today is simple, who stole your dream? Who did you let shape you into someone you ultimately did not desire to be? I want to keep this short and sweet. Here is my advice; forget them. What do you want to become? Better yet, who do you want to become? Here are my three suggestions on how to get it:

  1. Commit - Unless you are willing to put time and money behind something it will never become a reality.

  2. Think - Take time to think, where do I want to be in 5 years? How do I want to live? Then, make a plan on truly how to get there. Here is a tidbit - Macro patience, micro speed. Think long term but act short term. You don’t want to give up too quickly.

  3. Act - NOTHING happens unless you move, shake hands, call, grind, outlast people. I have been taking massive action for about 12 months now. Soon, it will show big time.

I genuinely want one thing for each of you that took the time to read this. Chase your dream. Because the price you will pay for chasing your dream it will pale in comparison to never have chased it at the end of your life… read that again.
